The Oxford Professor of Poetry will be giving his second lecture on March 8th, 5:30 pm, in the South School of the Examination Schools: "Eccentrique to the endes of his Master or State"

Perhaps not entirely coincidentally, this lecture takes place on the 100 year anniversary of the celebration of International Women's Day.

Inaugural Lecture

"How ill white hairs become a fool and jester" is the title of Geoffrey Hill's inaugural lecture as Oxford Professor of Poetry, to be held Tuesday November 30, 5:15 pm, in South School, Examination Schools (www.english.ox.ac.uk).

Meanwhile, now that all Paris Review interviews are available for reading on-line, it's a perfect time to re-read "The Art of Poetry," Geoffrey Hill interviewed by Carl Phillips (2000).
